7 Years in Calafou
Seven as the sum of heaven, earth, bodies, souls, emotions, mysteries and entropy.
7 colors in the rainbow,
7 notes on the diatonic scale,
7 days creating and resting,
7 years sowing life.
For this new stage, its challenges and energies, we aim to travel together through time and space.
A day of celebration and games to celebrate together the resistance and enthusiasm that we all put into building autonomous, supportive and self-managed communities. We want to share part of our history with you, look back, look at ourselves now and project desirable futures multiplied by 7.
We will start at 6pm with a photo exhibition of Calafou based on the memories of its ancient inhabitants. Neighborhgs that make up the living and collective memory of Calafou. We will trace routes to not forget.
We will continue with multi-age games: ping pong tournament, darts, bar games, gincamas and much more.
Then the live music will be present through our resident artists: Beka and Robert merge the accordion with synthesizers.
We will give space to the dinner (fideuá or paella according to the humor of the chefs!)
And then Patrick will take us to the land of soul, jazz blues and hip hop to give way to the dynamic comedy-fiction duo under the name of Public Domain and his unpublicizable melodic denunciations.
The night will have taken over all and the local Djs will claim the sound to make the dancefloor tremble with funk, darkdisco, tropicalbass, feminist reggeaton and psychodelic cumbias, always reserving in our hearts a few hours of techno so we dont lose the habit.
See you in the near future, we may have invented the machine to travel in time for that date (August 4, 2018) ...
